Kalina Jasiak

Kalina Jasiak’s path to architecture began in middle school, when a teacher noted her strengths in both math and art and encouraged her to consider the field. Her interest deepened during visits to Poland, where her mother would lead her on walking tours of Kraków, stopping to explore every church they passed—each experience adding to her appreciation for historic architecture and cultural context. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame, with a minor in Sustainability and a concentration in Historic Preservation. While at Notre Dame, she participated in the Iberian Traditional Architecture summer school in Peneda, Portugal, where she co-taught a drawing and watercolor workshop. Her academic achievements were recognized with the Faculty Choice Honorable Mention for Design Excellence in Architecture and the Michael and Julie Hanahan Architecture Prize.

Kalina interned at Historical Concepts’ New York office in the summer of 2024 and was drawn to the firm’s thoughtful design process and culture of collaboration. She returned as a full-time team member in 2025, excited to see drawings come to life and become spaces people can experience and enjoy. Outside the office, Kalina enjoys reading, hiking, and savoring the rare joy of having found an apartment in New York City with in-unit laundry.
