Ken Babinchak

Senior Planning Associate

Ken joined Historical Concepts in March 2026. A native of Charleston, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Design from Clemson University and a Master of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology. Ken is passionate about creating meaningful, distinctive places that positively impact a community through thoughtful urban design. He values building strong relationships with clients, community leaders, and stakeholders to help bring ambitious visions to life and is excited to continue his work as a placemaker and problem solver at HC.

Outside of his professional work, Ken has volunteered with the Architecture & Design Center of Atlanta and the Nashville Civic Design Center and served as a mentor in the 2026 Georgia Planning Association Mentorship Program. In his free time, he enjoys watching soccer, playing disc golf, and exploring the international cuisine along Buford Highway in Atlanta.
