Christian Orme

Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Christian Orme attended Brigham Young University where the study of music inspired a profound appreciation for the principles of classical composition shared across every artistic discipline. After graduating with a Bachelor of Music in piano performance, Christian pursued a Master of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame where he was honored to be the recipient of the Dean’s Graduate Award for Design Excellence in Architecture. Other accolades have followed, including the AIA Medal for Academic Excellence and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art’s 2024 Philip Trammell Shutze Award for Student/Emerging Professional. Christian has a particular interest in architectural and urban theory, acknowledging these are critically important, along with a thorough understanding of history, in continuing the classical tradition in the contemporary built environment. He joined Historical Concepts in August 2024 after interning with the firm in Summer 2022. Beyond architecture, Christian’s passions include playing piano, running, reading, and finding the city’s best local food dives.
