Originally from Austin, Texas, Ava Longoria joined Historical Concepts in 2023. During a childhood spent with her creative family, she loved to explore different neighborhoods with her mother, admiring the homes around her and dreaming of designing one someday. Ava studied at the University of Notre Dame, earning her Bachelor of Architecture with a concentration in Furniture Design, a course of study which not only heightened her appreciation for traditional craftsmanship but allowed her to acquire the fine woodworking skills needed to create her own pieces. As a teaching assistant at Notre Dame in hand drawing and watercolor rendering, Ava shared her enthusiasm for architecture as the ultimate connection between art and experience, not just to look at but to live in and create new memories. She is excited to be part of Historical Concepts, particularly for the firm’s emphasis on community and teamwork. In her free time, Ava loves to go to concerts with her family and friends.
